Acquiring new customers is a very expensive business today. Retaining and cultivating an existing customer is far more economical - if you know how to go about it.

Customer Relationship Management (CRM) provides support in active customer care. CRM systems are used as tools which represent significant success factors in the implementation of CRM strategies. We have designed and created successful CRM systems.

We developed CRM software for a call centre specialising in the sale of internet advertising banners which was designed to meet the special requirements of this field of commerce - from contact management to processing orders and supervision.

A further example of a successful CRM system is the game server as one-to-one marketing device and personalisation system for EDGAR Medien. The product is a database serving to administer games, personalised user data from the participants and automated e-mail generator.

The goal was to develop a database system which could be used for different applications connected to the edCARD (as the commercial advertising format of EDGAR Medien AG is called). The system should be capable of administering participants' data, provide advertising customers' booking statistics and, by sending out automated and personalised e-mails, contact individuals in connection with related events.

Background:
The interactive possibilities of e-cards and personalised e-mails are enormous. E-card games offer two USP's; firstly the generation of personalised addresses and secondly the multiplication effect - should the e-card become a runaway success. In connection with personalised e-mails, an ideal CRM instrument.

Benefit:
Complex customer relations systems exploiting the advantages of e-mail, e-card and/or SMS offer advertisers an increased return on investment since customer information is not only gathered but also evaluated and administered.

Result:
Our system administers and informs the user automatically and provides the customer with information about the status of his edCARD advertising campaign. Users can include their own personal information and participate in competitions themselves. The system takes care of everything else, from data administration and distribution to notification of the winners and distribution of the prizes. It administers various types of competitions from high score, first come, random (date-controlled) and random immediate (immediate identification of the winner).
